Overview

Sleeping Giant serves the Big Horn Basin and Greater Yellowstone area with recreational downhill skiing, snowboarding, nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and zip lining. The recreation area is located just outside of Yellowstone’s East Gate, and only 50 miles west of Cody, Wyoming.

Over the last decade, Sleeping Giant has become the destination for local adventure. its recreation area provides patrons with beautifully-groomed slopes, diverse terrain, top-of-the-line ski and snowboard instruction, and Wyoming’s largest dual zipline. Sleeping Giant is also known for its incredible views and wildlife.

Sleeping Giant needed an updated brand identity to reflect just how much it has to offer to the Cody area. Its target audience includes families, community groups, middle school students, and tourists, therefore its brand identity needed to have a more effective reach.

The ski logo was updated to reflect the letter “S” for Sleeping Giant, a skier on the slopes, and tall trees. The zip logo was updated to reflect a more dynamic zip-liner that had more personality. It now mirrors the ski area logo as it also incorporates a more detailed character. This updated brand keeps the red – indicative of what is available at Sleeping Giant – and will be brand consistent across the board.
